Are you considering switching from Arizona Sites to Arizona Faculty Sites?

Read these frequently asked questions:

One key difference between our two website services is your web address/url.

As an Arizona Sites user, our team manages your subdomain of arizona.edu (i.e. mylab.arizona.edu).

As an Arizona Faculty Sites user, you will be offered a subdirectory of the sites.arizona.edu url (i.e. sites.arizona.edu/my-lab).

If you choose to switch from Arizona Sites to Arizona Faculty Sites, you want your arizona.edu subdomain (mylab.arizona.edu) to redirect traffic to your new Arizona Faculty Site (arizona.edu/my-lab).  Redirects for Arizona Faculty Sites are not managed by our team, but by Managed Cloud Services (MCS).

If you are interested in switching to Arizona Faculty Sites and need your traffic redirected, we strongly encourage you to consult with Managed Cloud Services now to understand their eligibility requirements before making the switch.

You can request a consult with MCS here: MCS Consult

If you are interested in switching to Arizona Faculty Sites, you will be responsible for the manual transfer of content from your Arizona Site to your Arizona Faculty Site. This is a cut and paste operation that also includes downloading and uploading photos/documents to your new website.

Our team does not offer migration as a service. You may wish to contact your college's IT team to inquire if they are offering migration support.

As a free tool, our support of Arizona Faculty Sites is limited.  We will create your site upon request, and offer a “getting started” training session.  Additional support will be provided by a third-party (Campus Press) who offer 24/7 email support and are very responsive to support requests.

With Arizona Sites, you receive ongoing support and training directly from our team.
