The Child Cognition Lab studies cognitive processes in children and adults.  Our infant studies investigate how infants develop language, learn patterns, form categories, and develop memory processes, among other things.  Our lab also investigates how sleep affects infants’ learning.

Our adult studies focus primarily on how adults develop, change, and update memories.  We also investigate how memory processes are affected by sleep deprivation.

For more detailed information, please continue to our infant and child studies or our adult studies.

If you are currently participating or plan to participate in an adult study, we ask that you please refrain from reading about our adult studies, as it could compromise your data. Any questions you have will be answered during debriefing.
