How does my child learn about the world? How do events in my child's life shape the person she will become? At the University of Arizona Child Cognition Lab, we look to answer these and other important questions. Through a variety of fun activities for children and their families, the Child Cognition Lab is learning about how children experience their world. These studies are directed by Dr. Rebecca Gómez and focus primarily on early language and memory development, as well as the effects of sleep on infant learning. The lab in funded through the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Child Health and Development.
