- Export the text used in PageMaker for the print directory.
- Separate the text into appropriate alphabetical sections (i.e. A,B,C...)
and generate a separate text file for each letter.
- Open each text file in Word (any version that will export to TEXT
WITH LAYOUT).
- Change all of the documents to Courier 8pt.
- At the top of each file, add the following text (be sure to remove
the spaces before or after the < brackets >):

< body bgcolor=ffffff >
< pre >< strong >
- Set two flush left tabs at 1/2-inch and 1-inch (or at smaller
intervals if desired).
- Set one flush right tab where the phone numbers will line up.
Note: It may be helpful to do some trial tests to determine
where this tab should be. Some users may have difficulty reading the
phone numbers if the numbers are tabbed too far to the right
- Edit the text file for any peculiar text lines.
- Save the file as TEXT WITH LAYOUT with the filenames:
letter.htm (ex. a.htm, b.htm, c.htm)
- Upload all of the text files using an FTP client to:
