The Wildcat Battalion met at the Ina Giddings Field in order to conduct Drill and Ceremony training. MS IV instructors taught younger cadets the �Basic movement techniques within a formation� and also �Basic movement as a formation�. This was the first time for many newcomers in the program to learn how to march within a squad or platoon. It was also the first time for many MS IIIs in leading a formation after learning various commands to move their elements. After several stations of practicing, all individuals were able to be comfortable executing these first basic squad and platoon movements. At the end of September, Cadets will have another drill and ceremony lab that will aid them in furthering these skills as well as provide an opportunity to receive more instruction in more advanced Platoon movements.
