
4 YEAR SCHOLARSHIP FACT SHEET
Army ROTC offers full college scholarships to qualified applicants. These are awarded independently of other scholarships or financial aid you may have earned and include:
- Full tuition and mandatory fees at The University of Arizona,
- $1200 per year for books and lab fees, and
- Stipend of $3,000 a year for freshmen to $5,000 a year for seniors
SCHOLARSHIP PREREQUISITES:
- US citizen.
- AG E:
- At least 17 years of age by 1 October of freshman year.
- Be age 30 or younger on 31 December of the calendar year of college graduation.
- 19 ACT or 920 SAT
- Phy sically fit and able to pass the Army Physical Fitness Test.
- Pass the Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board (DoDMERB) physical examination at no cost to student.
- High School graduate (or equivalent) before September of the calendar year the scholarship begins. If you have already earned college credits, you must have four years of college classes remaining.
- Acceptance to the University of Arizona or Pima Community College.
- Satisfactorily explain any record of arrest or civil conviction.

TIPS TO INCREASE YOUR PROBABILITY OF SUCCESS:
- Take an ACT or SAT
- Postmarked application deadlines to Cadet Command are:
- Early Decision Cycle (EDC) prior to senior year = 15 July
- Regular Decision Cycle (RDC) during first semester of senior year = 15 November
- Apply to a college or university with an Army ROTC program
- Interview with the Professor of Military Science
- Schedule a DoDMERB physical; you must pass prior to the semester your scholarship begins
