
2 & 3 YEAR SCHOLARSHIPS FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS
Army ROTC offers full college scholarships to qualified applicants. These are awarded independently of other scholarships or financial aid you may have earned and include:
- Full tuition and mandatory fees at The University of Arizona,
- $1200 per year for books and lab fees, and
- Stipend of $3,000 a year for freshmen to $5,000 a year for seniors
SCHOLARSHIP PREREQUISITES:
- US citizen.
- AGE:
- At least 17 years of age by 1 October of the calendar year your scholarship begins.
- Be age 30 or younger on 31 December of the calendar year of graduation.
- GPA 2.5 or higher (3.0 cumulative ROTC GPA if already enrolled in ROTC).
- Qualify for Advanced ROTC through one of the following:
- Veteran or Reserve Duty (complete basic training if Reserve or National Guard).
- Progression (completion of four semesters of Lower Division ROTC).
- Leadership Training Course (4-week summer internship at Fort Knox, KY).
- ACT score of 21 or SAT score of 1040 or higher (applicable for 3 year scholarships only).
- Two-year Master’s applicants must be accepted to a Master’s program before applying.
- Physically fit and able to pass the Army Physical Fitness Test.
- Pass the DoD Medical Examination Review Board (DoDMERB) physical.

TIPS TO INCREASE YOUR PROBABILITY OF SUCCESS:
- Schedule a DoDMERB physical; you must pass prior to the semester your scholarship begins
- Pass the Army Physical Fitness Test
- Deadline to apply with Army ROTC department is 1 March (3 year) and 1 April (2 year).
- Your probability of receiving a scholarship is higher if you're enrolled in ROTC when you apply!
