Michael P. Sullivan received his Ph.D. from the University of Oregon.
His areas of interest are International Relations and American Foreign
Policy, and he has taught courses in those areas as well as Quantitative
Methods and Problems of World Order. His publications have appeared
in Journal of Conflict Resolution, American Journal of
Political Science, Political Research Quarterly [Western
Political Quarterly], Conflict Management and Peace Science,
International Interactions, and Millennium: Journal of
International
Studies. His books include The Vietnam War: A Study in the
Making of American Policy, Power in Contemporary International
Politics, and most recently Theories of International Relations:
Transition vs. Persistence.
