Professional Masters Program
The
Program in Applied Mathematics and the Department of Mathematics jointly
administer a Professional Masters degree in Mathematical Science which
is intended specifically for individuals intending to make careers in
industry and commerce, or in the public sector. The program of study is
flexible and tailored to individual candidates' needs, and can be interdisciplinary
in nature. This degree is part of a broader program of Professional Masters
degrees in the College
of Science at the University of Arizona, and this will enable students
to participate, with those from the other Professional degree programs,
in specially designed business and other activities. Students may apply
