The Committee on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Studies was founded in 1993 to develop curriculum, promote research and present public programming that addresses the histories, politics and cultures of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Arizona, nationally and globally. On Oct 11, 2007, the Committee was formally re-established as the University of Arizona
