UA students may become involved in the judicial process of the Dean of Students Office through nomination by student government to become a member of a hearing board. Hearing board service means the student will sit on a board that is evaluating a case being appealed by a fellow student. All cases are confidential, and students are trained in the judicial process and procedures involved. If interested, contact your student government representative at (520) 621-ASUA.

Occasionally the Dean of Students Office will ask students to evaluate the disciplinary process on issues such as fairness, responsiveness, and effectiveness. If you receive such a request, we highly encourage you to complete the evaluation so we may make revisions and improvements to the process.
