Black Theme Party
Early spring semester a party held off campus by a group of UA students inviting guest to come as their "favorite black person" prompted a variety of reactions from members of our campus community.
In order to address these responses openly, in an environment where participants would feel safe to express their views, the Dean of Students Office and Vice Provost for Student Affairs held a forum in Gallagher Theater on February 15. Facilitators external to the UA moderated the discussion, and notes may be read at:
