Passed. The committee feels that this is a budgetary issue only and the academic quality and importance of the program to the State of Arizona has not received appropriate recognition. This prospective is reinforced by the addition of a new program in Africana Studies and the generous outside funding sources for the new Judaic Studies center while the Med Tech program, a very successful program, is to be disestablished for lack of resources.
