Planning Notice
Name: New
interdisciplinary degree – BA with a major in Medieval, Renaissance, and
Reformation Studies
Initiating Unit: College of Humanities
Program Contact: Roger Dahood,
rdahood@u.arizona.edu, 621-1836
Description: The degree is designed to allow undergraduates flexibility in fashioning their own curriculum. The backbone and unifying requirement is 2 semesters of Latin beyond the General Education second language requirement. While the major program is interdisciplinary, through the elective and capstone courses it permits and encourages students planning to go on to graduate study to focus on a particular area or discipline.
