Community Mentoring Project

Become A Mentee

Congratulations! You have agreed to participate in the Community Mentoring Project. According to Black Issues in Higher Education, mentoring programs have proven effective in student success.

Our goal is to give both mentor and mentee a "blue print" that will help jump start a student's college career by participating with a campus and Tucson community member for a semester long relationship to foster mutual growth.

Our hope is that both mentee and mentor will communicate at least once per month with two structured gathering sponsered by African American Student Affairs
