AAFSAA Scholars Award
Students attending full-time are eligible for this award. The applicant
must demonstrate financial need in order to qualify for this award.
The minimum award for each scholarship is $1,000 for the 2008-2009
academic year. Applicants must file the Free Application for Federal
Student Aid (FAFSA) to qualify for financial aid based on need for the
2008-2009 academic year. The scholarship may be applied only to
tuition. Awards in combination with other Arizona Board of Regents
-authorized tuition remission and award program may not exceed the
student’s general tuition award value. Please contact Student Financial
Aid, Admin 201B, for questions on financial aid eligibility. Competitive
renewal of this award will be considered based on a minimum 3.0 GPA
and completion of 24 units at the end of the award period.
Asian American Student Achievements Award
Students attending full-time are eligible for this award. The minimum
award for each scholarship is $1,000 for the 2008-2009 academic year.
This is a merit-based award for which applicants will be evaluated
based on outstanding academic performance, other commendable
academic related and/or community related activities, and letters of recommendation. The scholarship may be applied only to tuition.
Awards in combination with other Arizona Board of Regents-
authorized tuition remission and award program may not exceed the
student’s general tuition award value.
National Alumni Association Award: Collegiate MBNA/License Plate Scholarship
Students attending full-time are eligible for this award. The value of
the award for each scholarship is up to $1,000 for the 2008-2009
academic year. This is a merit-based award for which applicants
will be evaluated based on outstanding academic performance
and other commendable academic-related and/or community-related
activities.
New World Scholars Award
This merit-based scholarship is offered to students of Chinese
descent. Scholars will receive a one-time award of an amount up to
$1,000 for the 2008-2009 academic year.
