Developed by the University of Arizona, this collection of digitalized exhibits offers access to collections which are limited among the public. Included are photographs, manuscripts, audio recordings, and videotapes. Documents can also be printed directly from the site. The collection is primarily of the more recent historical nature (20th century) and focuses on southern Arizona, including collections related to the mission churches of the Sonoran Desert, Sabino Canyon, and the Bisbee Deportation of 1917. While the information is sometimes basic or even sparse, some collections are impressively extensive. Lists of related references are often listed. |
