Research Interests:

My broad interests lie in learning and memory in insects. I hope to take an interdisciplinary approach, using methods from behavioral ecology, neurobiology, and molecular biology to explore correlations between learning behaviors and physiological mechanisms in an insect brain. Furthermore, I am also interested in how brain plasticity allows insects to modify their behavior when interacting with changing environments.
